Throttle Cables routing was created by SebRain77
Ok, here's the deal. I changed my throttle cables for new ones. Was convinced the bike was a 650C1. Wich it is, except for the handlebars, they dont go up much, and the signals are affixed to them, not attached to the headlight.

Is there a right or wrong way to route those cables? I wouldn't think so, as long as the throttle doesn't increase or decrease when turning, right? And I don't really want to have the cables run in front of the right signal for obvious safety reasons! I looked at the pictures in the 650 gallery, and routings are all over the place.

I know some of you have this knowledge! Thanks in advance!

Pretty strange that you have a C1 with signals attached to the handelbars but here is the routing for my F1. (remember to click to enlarge):)

I figured something was different when I noticed there was a low fuel warning light in the tach! The only thing that worries me a little bit is routing the cables that way, they will pass right in front of the right signal... So I had them routed behind the signal, attached to the handle bars, and then behind the headlight and then just the normal routing. I'll see if the throttle works right just this way, otherwise I'll have to find another routing or change the handlebars... Something like drag bars maybe... We'll see in due time.

Thanks guys, really appreciated!

I kinda figured out a way that doesn't obstruct the right signal. I don't think many people will notice. Hey, as long as its safe and it does the job right!

Now all I need to do is clean the gas tank and install the fuel system hoses and we'll be riding! Can't wait:woohoo:
