KZ750 after market carb? was created by al_ndsu
Does anyone have any suggestions for an after market new carb and air filter for a KZ750 twin 1979? Also, what cone style pod filters fit the original carb.

Did you ever find any aftermarket carbs? Need some myself. Thanks.

I'd be REALLY surprised if there are any bolt-on aftermarket carbs for the 750 twin. It's a sweet street engine (I used to have one), but it has never been popular with the performance crowd. That being said, with enough determination, ingenuity and / or money, most anything is possible. I can even visualize a side-draft Weber under the tank!
As for the pod filters, that should be easy. All one would need is the throat outside measurement and plenty of time to mess with the jetting problems that will crop up.

All you have to do is locate Smithgpz and ask him what carbs are on the bike in this pic. They are aftermarket Mikuni's but I don't remember any more.
