1981 kz550 carb rebuild?

I know theres a lot of theses questions, but i need help. i have a 81 kz550 with those TK carbs on it and i bought all four rebuild kits from z1.also i bought those air pod filters and bought new shorty mufflers from jp cycles.will i need 2 re jet the carbs?? well i was wondering if theres a walk through on rebuilding these or any steps?? basically i need someone 2 walk me through on the rebuild. advice and pics would be great. thanks

If you click the "KZ Information" tab on the top you will get to a place where "articles" are. Under "articles" there is another tab for "tech tips". Under there there are 2 writeups that are excellent called carb 101 and carb 102. Kind of off the beaten path but worth seeking out. Some good info. I think 2.5 turns is 1 turn too many for most applications. But be sure to go find and read these two articles.
