I didn't realize the emgos were that crappy;), good info to know. Qdudes discription also sounded like a pair I picked up @ a boneyard before I got the K&N's. Cleaned them w/the kit and didn't have a problem. I ended up not using them because they had leaks between the filter and boot. I agree, that if you are going w/pods, get the K&N's and not have to worry if they are any good.

Emgos are not crappy but their filtering media is paper. MANY airfilters are paper. You just can't wash paper. Buying Emgo filters is a GOOD decision under the right circumstances.
