carb guys- stuck float? was created by 81kz1100
One of my carbs spews fuel out from the back ports facing the airbox.. could this be because of a stuck float??

Might be a stuck float, but am thinking more likely foreign matter in the interface between float needle and seat.

May sometimes be cleared by rapping smartly against float bowl with plastic mallet while engine is running.

If not already using, would install an in-line fuel filter.

Good Luck!:)

Would also sniff-test crankcase oil for any gasoline odor evidencing fuel intrusion into crankcase. If in doubt, would change oil and filter. :)

If needed, here's the parts diagram from Kawasaki.com.
(Click on diagram to enlarge)

Part number 16030 is the float needle and seat combination.

Thank you sir, I'm going to have to guess that its probably got something in it because I already tried rapping on the carb to no success.. Thanks for the insight. :)
