750B3 single carb setup was created by securitygeek
Anyone know if it would work to attempt to use a single OEM carb and use it to provide fuel to a custom manifold for normal riding (no hotrodding/racing)? Could ir work with a pod filter and rejetting?
If this is a dumb idea, what would be a good carb to use to change from the original two carb setup to a single carb setup?

Over on another forum, I've seen it done to at least a few 400 twins, and one 750 twin. So yes, it's do-able, and yes, I think it's a great idea. I'd like to do it, too... somehow, someday...

I'd be interested in this as well. Anyone know if a manifold (single carb for a twin) from an old Triumph Trophy might fir the KZ heads?

It will definately work some of the old British bikes had this setup.the hardest part will be fabricating a manifold.I would use a 42 or 44 mm Mikuni off of some kind of big dirt bike.
