1981 KZ1000 pilot jets

My BS34 CV carbs have #37.5 pilot jets and I want to go to #40s. Mine do not have the side holes, only the one small top hose (as installed)and is a Calif bike. Are these stock. I've only seen the ones with side holes. Where is the best place to get these?

My air jets appear to be pressed in (no slot) are these stock?

I believe that 37.5s are stock for your bike.

Z1 Enterprises should have them, if you want to move to 40s.

Z1Enterprises.com has the jets you need. The #37.5 pilot jets that come stock on your bike are type N151.067 Mikuni - These have no holes in the sides, as you noticed. They can be replaced by the more commonly found Mik BS30/96 type pilot jets in size #40. In our shop, we only stock the BS30/96 as these are much more available through our aftermarket sources and in far more sizes. Either will work just fine.

They also sell jets in packages of two for us twin riders, so we donm't have to pay double for jets and buy four like virtually every other place on earth requires.

Nothing wrong with Z1, I have bought many things from them. But, if they don't have your size, you can check this place.
