I just finished doing a search on these carbs on the net, I got one hit from a dutch site.
This tells me that:
A. These carbs run problem free and never need adjustment.
or
B. I'm the last guy on the planet considering opening these badboys up.
I'm leaning to "B" as Wired George makes no mention of these on his site.
Any Thoughts?
These carbs are factory for 83 KZ550 A4 and 82 KZ550H
If these are known to be an issue, what is a viable replacement?

Pilot Screw 2.5 turns out, N/A US.
Service Fuel Level 7+/- 1mm

My Tekei K26 Vs have been cleaned once in 25 years and 30,000km of riding. The bike still runs great and I balance them annually.

more specifically the wiredgeorge website makes no mention of tk k26v's. If i recall however, it does however make mention of tekei carbs.
My 20+ years of Honda (keihin / mikuni) ownership has sheltered me somewhat to the finer details of a much wider world around me.
I'll give you a call when the time is right (meaning I've pulled it so far apart I can't figure out top from bottom - left from right), and no, I won't expect a discount for disassembly.

The choke flaps were for TK22 slide carbs. I don't think the TK26 CV carbs have the choke flaps.

I think the CV have more standard butterflies. The flaps were kind of unique to the mechanical carbs.

You are looking at the enrichment circuit on the side shown. Note that between the A and B there is a black 4mm diameter rod. Note that there is an inverted U about in the middle between the A & B? That rod is the rod that pulls open the choke plungers. The inverted U is the mechanical actuator that fits over the plungers and pulls them when the rod pulls out. There is no "choke" system on these carbs; only the enrichment circuit so they don't have any choke butterfly. When you look into the venturi on the other side, you see slide.

Gents,
I've pulled the carbs off and cleaned them up, there really isn't any sign of issue (rough idle prior to storage), and I'll run a vacuum balance once reassembled on the bike.
Would there be any benefit to changing jets to accomodate for my kerker exhaust and uni filter?
If so, which and where to source?
