Anyone have a Spare Petcock for a '76 KZ750?

I went to start my bike when it was cold and the petcock handle snapped off in my hand. At least it didn't happen when I was in Toronto this summer...
Otherwise, if you have a good suggestion for a replacement, I could go with a non-original (*gasp!*) I would rather stick with an original but they're so gosh-darn hard to turn and I don't want this to happen to me again. It's a commuter bike.
The '76 has a dual-port petcock with one port facing in toward the carbs and one facing the back of the bike.

Rare, they may be. But do not be disheartened. The threaded attachment, I believe, was a more common size. I have read many places that the z1 petcock of the era fits as well, and that Pingel replacements (available at z1enterprises.com , of course) will fit. Now, none of this is confirmed by me, and is all seond-hand, so validate it all before you buy, but it might be something to go on at least. I've always meant to check into this myslef, so you can be the guinea pig....
...oh, and if the petcock you get fits and looks good but is only a single-spout, just get a y-shaped fitting and split the line.

Just to let you know, the 750 twin petcock is nothing like those. It just threads right on to a round, threaded, pipe-like tank outlet.

Yep, it is a screwball design. The smartest move I made was grabbing my ankles and buying one from the dealer way back when. When mine leaked severely, I installed the new one and it's still working. Knock wood.
This place was parting out some 750 twins. maybe they have a used petcock assy.
