Possibly crud in float needle/seat interface.

Uncertain, as bogging may result from several things, and perhaps not carb related.
But one theory would be possibly of leaking float needle/seat interface causing too high fuel level in float bowl resulting in over-rich mixture.

It could. First thing to do is measure the resting fuel levels in the bowl and set them right.
If you still see flooding, check the needle valve and seat for that carb.

check the drain plug O-ring on the bottom of the float bowl also. mine were bad last year and they leaked alot.
what he said above, some crud in the needle seit will do that also.
dont use compressed air in your carbs without removing any diaphrams first.

leaking gas out the #2 --- does this mean fuel is coming from the overflow nipple on bottom of the float bowl? Usually, each nipple has a rubber tube attached leading to underneath the bike, so overflow is deposited onto the ground or garage floor (instead of onto the motor underneath the carbs).
As noted by ran429, gas leak may be from another source such as faulty o-ring on drain plug.
Leak could also be fuel getting past float bowl gasket (faulty gasket or loose float bowl screws), or deformed float bowl flange (usually repairable).
