I've been searching eBay but I'd rather buy new so I know they haven't been "tuned" yet. There's a guy on eBay now that will sell new 36's for $775. I've found prices elsewhere from $700 to $850 (ouch!). I was hoping for around $500-$600. Dream on, right??

Maybe someone knows a good supplier.

pingleonline.com has them. They didn't seem too expensive but I guess it's relative.

Whoa! $597 for 34's - that's by far the cheapest I've seen. I'm going to see if that's still accurate. Thanks!

Pingel is the cheapest by far - a new set is on their way to my house right now!:woohoo:

Even the builder that did my engine for me couldn't match them. Others were as much as $250 higher! The next closest was still over $50 more. Shipping was very reasonable too. Can't wait!:woohoo: :woohoo: Now if the snow would just go away... :(

I'm FINALLY ready to try out these brand-new RS34 carbs and I want to make sure all of the settings are correct. I pulled the pilot jet to check the size and can only find "0.8" stamped on it. Is this a 17.5?? I can't find a conversion chart or any info on this at all. I was expecting to see a "17.5" - what's up with that?

Everything else looks right on. I just wanted to make sure I knew what I was starting with from the factory. The manual lists the 17.5's as being installed, but I don't understand the "0.8" thing.

Anyone familiar with these parts?
