1982 kz750 n1

so i bought this bike for 100 bucks so it has some problems. i finally got it to run for more than a minute on its own, and then the idle decided to jump like crazy like all the way to redline. fuel was rushing out of number 4 carb, and it just wasnt running right. I assume that the carbs need to be rebuilt and the jets changed because there are kerkers and pods on it. i have no clue what carbs are on there and how difficult is it to rebuild them. any help please.

I think the carbs are Keihin 34CV. You would be starting out right by getting a Factory shop manual and giving it a good tuneup first. Carefully inspect the carb holders for cracks, if there are any they should be replaced. See how it runs after the tuneup before you dive into the carb cleaning and rebuilding. You won't know what it needs for jets until you open them up. The previous owner may have jetted it for the pods and pipes.
