thanx to wg i have a new set of carbs.

i just wanted to thank openly wired George for hooking me up with a newly rebuilt set of carbs,
he was cool about cross shipping them to me, as i ride my bike every day to work so sending them to him first wasn't possible.
this shows to me what a high level of commitment he has not only to his customers but to this community.

Yup, what goes around, comes around. WG has always been free with help and info. The carbs on a bike I bought had been previously done by WG and that fact was a factor in me deciding to buy the bike...of course, the bike runs like crap (but it has nothing to do with the carbs:laugh: :laugh: :laugh: )

I was trying to decide to try and clean the carbs again or send them out to him. I decided to use part of my bonus check and treat the bike to a nice Christmas present. I was VERY HAPPY to see he had a sale going on. My carbs were delivered to him late yesterday. In the next few days off work,I'm hoping to get the rest of the work done to the bike so it will be ready for the carbs when he is done with them. Looks like 2008 will be a KZ year.

I also sent a set of carbs to WG for rebuilding. When I shipped them to him they looked like crap. When he returned them they looked brand new with all new hardware. He even sent another set of pilot jets because he said on his test bike they ran a bit rich at idle. If I had a plug fouling problem to switch to the other set. I’ve yet to mount these carbs but I’m sure when I do they will work as good as they look. Thanks WG:)
