I'm rebuilding a kz1000p and have eleminated the air box in favor of the cone air filters. when I rebuild the carbs how many sizes larger do I need to go on the jets? the carbs are stock and I don't plan to increase the cylinder size when I rebuild the motor.
ps, I would be willing to trade the air box ,complete with the chrome side pieces, for four of the afore mentioned air filters..

A good starting point is #40 pilots and #140 mains. Leave jet needles alone.

Jim, Have a look at our website. It isn't proper that I push carb service on this site... FWIW: Pay special attention to our homepage Christmas message... you might want to look prior to the Dec 29th.

By the way, those are Emgo pods...
