Have U tried 38mm v2 Mikuni carbs? was created by Nelson
I know a guy who's got a set of 38mm v2 Mikuni carbs I can buy. The old round slide dirt bike style. 4 seperate throttle cables with screw-on top.

I think they may be intended for drag racing, but not sure. I'm thinking of running them on my street KZ1000, but wondering if the low rpm performance will be poor. I'm sure they'll scream wide open, but oddly enough I can't ride wide open in traffic all the time!

they don't have synch ports either...

whattaya think?

However that particular type of carb may work in general, 38mm is mighty big for a non-CV carb. For 1200cc or less, anyway, folks generally pick 36s when buying Mikuni RS flatslides from what I've read and heard. Just a thought.
