You may or may not. I suggest throwing them on and running it. Check the plugs and adjust as necessary.

26's usaully have 112 or 115's in them. The 115 will be too big. The 112 will be too big. Somewhere between 1 to 3 sizes smaller than 112. If it's too rich just off the shelf, you could drop the needles down (raise the clip) one notch, but you have to take them allllllll apart to do it, then u risk losing your job when u don't show up for work. Jets are cheap, but I think either way would work. Raising the clip with 115's in them might be right nice for that 750's fuel requirements. I'd start out with something smaller than 112 to save time finding out it runs too rich, and have to guess how many sizes smaller to go next. And I'm a pretty smart guy too.

Interesting advise so far. To do this swap, you will need to use the correct carb holders... the mount holes may have to be elongated a bit as the spacing isn't the same as the carb holders for the CV carbs you had. You will need a new throttle cable; I can't say if the one you used on the KZ1000 will fit your right hand throttle/switchgear. You will also need some different air filters since the OD is so much different than the CV carbs... my guess is you will be using pods.

OK... since I had to do some guessing on the air filters, I am going to guess you have a 4 into 1 that flows better than the stock exhaust.

There were a couple of VM26 assemblies used in 78 on the KZ1000. Depends on which model but the main jet will be either a #102.5 (A2A) or #105 for the B or A2 model. These 26s are pathetically lean. Use a #115 main jet. Reclip your jet needle to 4th slot AND use a #20 pilot jet. That is if you are going to use pods and that 4 into 1 I guessed at. If you are NOT going to use this air filter / exhuast combo, then this jetting will not be appropriate. The 78 VM26s can be made to work OK if they are jetted as I noted.
