And your carb overflow lines should run from the bowls down inbetween the motor and swingarm.

The hoses on the bottom of the carbs are fuel overflow hoses. If your carb bowls get too full, then gas will run out the bottom drain, and through the hoses. So those hoses need to run to where the gas won't hurt anything. Usually, behind the engine, under the swing arm (where you battery vent hose goes).

As for the breather, Two lines come from the valves and combine in to one and go to the crank case. That recycling of air should not be broken right?

For the hoses ontop of the valve cover, you can just run a hose from one to the other, or cap them off, just don't leave them open.
It won't hurt anything and you can get rid of that stupid smog junk!

Another option for the crankcase breather venting is to find a rubber L shape connector that fits snugly onto the crankcase breather vent pipe and then run a thin-wall hose from the connector to exit underneath the bike. The new crankcase breather vent hose may be routed adjacent to the bundled floatbowl overflow tubes. I haven't had any problem without a filter at end of crankcase breather vent hose underneath bike, and don't have to worry about a filter clogging. And being always garaged, haven't worried much about bugs or anything crawling up inside the vent hose opening.
Glad to have you aboard.

...going to replace the air filter box with 4 K&N filter....
Warning - STOP - Unsolicited comment below :woohoo:
Yes the pods do look cool. But would consider the advantages enjoyed with a stock air box.
Still having fun with the pods vs. air boxes.

I will look over all my options, and try to make a good choice.
OHH! I forgot to tell you all, Last week I took the whole bike apart to the frame!
Having the fram sand blasted, and poweder coated High Gloss Black.
Tooke the engine out and had the head rebuilt and had it bored 1 over.
Changing the pipes to V&H 4 into 1,
Adding sport bike handle bars to the bike.
And lowering the seat about 1.5 - 2 inces and adding a gel insert into the seat and taking Half of the back lumbar of the seat off to set farther back in the saddle.
Your Thoughts?

If you change to a 4 into 1, you will need to rejet your carbs.
If you find any 70 primary jets for your Keihin's, you let me know...

Welcome to KZR. The thread you have posted to is over 8 years old and most of the participants are no longer around here. A new thread might be a better choice to get responses.
A picture would help, but I suspect what you are referring to are the bowl vents. If so, each should have a hose attached to it that is routed over the airbox and end in a place where there is relatively low turbulence.
