I'm gonna take a stab at it....motorcycle carbs?:P :silly:

I'm certainly no expert, but judging from the angle of the float bowls and the shape of them, they look like a set of 33mm semi-down draft carbs.

Those things are from a later water cooled crotch rocket. Probably a GSX-R 600 or 750 or ZX600 type bike. like from the late 80s to mid-90s? I don't keep specs or ID info for those things as I don't get much call for rebuilding/sales. I have about 5 or 6 sets of them. The carbs are from bikes where the engine is tipped forward a lot farther than older air cooled Suz or Kaw models. This is the reason for the float bowl being at an angle. The spacing on those carbs is SIMILAR to the spacing on the KZ650/750/900/1000 engines and you CAN fit them to these bikes. I messed around with a set for a day or so and never could get them to run right. I think the bowls were running dry as the floats likely didn't work as they should because of the angle. I spoke with others who tried to make them work on the older air cooled engines without any luck. The pilot jets on those things are kind of smallish for CV carbs... #32 as I recall and the mains are not terribly large and that is why I think they may be from smaller displacement sport bikes. If you really want to figure things out, get the jetting info (hopefully it is still stock) and then start looking on bikebandit.com to see if you can match the jetting to some of the flatslides used on small displacement sport bikes (already mentioned models I suspect).

If the spacing is close enough to work on a KZ, they're not from a water-cooled bike. Those look pretty similar to the 29mm CV flatslides I have on the KZ650, which came from a first-year, air/oil-cooled GSXR750. But several other sizes and types of CV-flatslide Mikunis look similar, though the later-model ones I've seen have a remote (cable-operated) choke instead of the pull-knob on the carbs.

Here's a pic of my 29s on the bike. Yes, they're nasty-looking, and will soon be removed to be cleaned-up. These carbs REALLY woke-up the 650. It likes them very much. They had a dynojet kit and air filters when I bought them for $55 off ebay.
