new jets was created by jaguar
Ok, I just installed 140 main jets and 40 pilot jets in my 82 gpz 750 with mikuni carbs and its poppin like Orvil Reddinbacker on the left side. Made sure the air fuel mixture screws were all the same @ 1 1/2 turns out. Then I turned the two left in 1/2 turn and no difference. I also noticed that the pilot jets (that I got from the dealer) were the same length and diameter but the new #40's had more holes in them than the stock 37.5's. I think I got the wrong jets,,,, anyone second the idea? Joe

screw it, I am going back to 110 mains and 37.5 pilot jsts. At least it ran decent w/ those in it.

Well, Put the 110 and 37.5 jets back in and taped up 3/4 of the k&n pod filters and she is running like a striped ape again. Next time I will use the kiss method. Joe

I got it fixed. Went back to stock jets and readjusted #1 float level and now she runs great. I just needed to think about it and figure it out.
