kz carbs? was created by jordan
I am completing my 810 build, and am now looking for a set of carbs. My motor is a 750 motor with wiseco 810 kit, gpz cams, and mildly ported gpz head. I am always hearing stuff about bs34's, or vm33's or something like that. What bikes came with these carbs? Would they be better for my motor description? Also have heard about the GSXR carbs that work. Or would the stock carbs off my other 750 (82) work fine if I rejetted them? Basically my question is what carbs would be most compatible with my motor, and the power modifications.

Keihin CV34 or Mikuni BS34 carbs will work fine. Your mods are not all that significant when it comes to rejetting. There is more potential of airflow and thus, the need for more gas but it won't be realized till you modify the air box and exhaust. Both the CV34 and BS34 assemblies can be rejetted to accomodate anything you can do. I have not heard of many success stories regarding the Suz GSX-R carbs and the VM33s are too much for your bike. I think you would have tuning issues with the 33s.
