carburetor order?
09 Oct 2007 14:55
Hey guys,
I'm new here, hi!
I recently bought a '78 kz650 that has turned out to be kind of a lemon thus far. so anyway, I popped off the float bowl and top to the carb and saw a number one on 2 of the carbs and a number 2 on 2 of the carbs. How are these supposed to be ordered, or does it even matter? Do the ones go in the middle or on the outside?
thanks!
Nate

Are you talking about the float bowls and caps?

As long as the air adjustment screws on 1 and 2 are on the left and on 3 and 4 are to the right and the drain holes on the bowls are situated the same way as the screws it really doesn't matter. The PO may have taken them off the rack and mixed them up.
