mounting problems was created by HOGEATER
OK here goes,
I have a 79 KZ1000 LTD , I have a set of 33s to mount, I know I need different holders but the problem is when the carbs are where they should mount they hit the petcock of the tank. This is the stock gas tank for this bike and no MODS to the frame in that area..
WHY DON'T THEY WORK????? I will take some pics to anyone who wants to see what I'm talking about.

You might have to go with a different tank or petcock. Bummer! BTW what did you do with the 29's? ;)

I had an ltd tank on my a with vm33's and had to reverse the petcock lever. its easy. just take it apart and drill and tap the screw hole that holds the lever in on the oposite side.use any size screw that will fit if u cant find metric(i used 8-32 or something?).then i just filed the threads off the end of the screw so it was like the original one (u will understand when u take it apart).u can still get the stock o rings no problem, my dealer had 29 in stock.these petcocks are goood up to 1135cc's.pm me if u need more info.
