carb vent question
28 Sep 2007 21:30
I have a metal tee with plugged hoses running between #1 and #2 carbs and #3 and #4 carbs. I have read and surmised that they are air for the carb bowls or fuel evacuation lines(in the event of the bike falling). Is this correct? And if so; Should I unplug them? They are plugged right now from P.O.
Thanks

These are bowl vent fittings, and and should ne ever be capped off. If you're using pod filters, and have the emission stuff removed, route them up and to filtered air, or dirt will eventually work it's way in the carb bowls.

Green tubes right? My emissions stuff and stock airbox are still intact. How should I route the tubes? I don't see any orifice open in which to connect them.
