hey guy's

hope you haven't been in this situation:

petcock leaks a little but every time i turn it off is sooth a squirt of gas.
may be a bad diaphragm?
i don't want to take it apart until i know what can i do in case thay the complete assembly is bad.

thanks in advance!

Just order the diaphram and spring washer.
The 77 petcocks are simple to repair.

My petcock doesnt shut off at all.. it's an aftermarket Pingel.. Looked like it would need to be replaced since I couldnt find a rebuild kit fot it. I got 2 fuel shut offs from Z-1 and just open the seat and turn them off manually, so far so good. Unless someone knows where I can get a rebuild kit? My 93 Ninja 600 also leaks a little, thinking of doing the same thing :) At least they both work ON!
