carb adj. for no baffle?
13 Sep 2007 15:23
My baffle came out 'somewhere' and now the carbs seem to be runnin a little rich. Is this to be expected?
I have read that we need to re-jet the carbs to account for no baffle. Is this the case?

If your exhaust is less restrictive, you should be running lean, not rich. Less restrictive exhaust, airbox or air filters (i.e. pods) typically requires installation of larger jets (and possibly other adjustments) in order to prevent a lean condition.
