I'm CONSIDERING PUTTING 34MM CARBS FROM A 2001 KZ1000
POLICE BIKE ON MY 78 Z1R. i ALSO PLAN TO INSTALL A

Jess, No need to type in all caps... hard on the eyes. Also, the main issue regarding rejet is the airbox and pipes... you made no mention of these. The carbs you intend to install will need to be rejetted if you modify the airbox/pipes.

Sorry, my caps button kept sticking. What do I do
about carb filters.Do I toss my airbox. If I keep
my stock exhaust, I won't have to jet the carbs.
