rebuilding carbs

I am rebuilding a set of Keihin Cv34 carbs for my bike as a spare set and learning tool. I have a question. On putting the carbs back together do I need to align the nozzle (main) with the hole that leads into the pilot jet chamber or does it even matter. I have looked through my repair manual but nothing is mentioned on this. Help would be appreciated.

I think if it mattered, it would be indexed to fit 1 way only.
