What Carbs

I have a 78 KZ1000 LTD but can't find kits for the carbs. The engine # is KZT00AE077366 and the Frame # is KZT00B-521775. I ordered kits for the 77/78 a1/a2 LTD and they don't fit .
The carbs have a 1.180 throat on head side and a 1.580 throat on filter side, no overflow tube on the bowls but have a 17MM plug that can be removed to drain also have a screen filter attached to the needle seat. They are MIKUNI,s but what size???? PLS HELP

17mm plugs came on the very early vm28's and the often sought after vm29's. what do the tops of the carbs look like? lid held on with 2 screws or 3?

The tops have three screws , 1 in the front of the cover and 2 in the back. Do you know who sells kits for these ???

no brass fittings , but the needle valves have small filters on them. I measured the throats , the front is 29.62approx MM and the rear is 39.80.
send your email addy to me and I'll send some pics of them I tried here and they are too big.
some of the guys on the other KAW site they thought these carbs were from early Z1..

Thanks

You have Mikuni VM29 smoothbores. On the flange (under the choke lever arm) is an ID mark stamped on the carb flange... most have 29 xx such as 29 14 ID mark.
