So I was inspecting my carb boots today. They are dry and cracked. My question is if there is a leak thru them what kind of symptoms would you get? Also where might I find some new ones for the kz650?

Some symptoms are rough idle, hard starting, sometimes slow to return to idle. A good way to test them is to spray carb cleaner on them. If the running changes you know they are leaking. The quickest way to get them is z1enterprises.com.
Yeah, another plug for Jeff, but then, he deserves them.

Well I gave it a shot, no change in the way it was running so I guess that is not the prob.
