some background on the bike.. 1983 KZ650 CSR.. 6K original miles, had a tune up by a mechanic from P/O and then was garage kept and sat without running for 17 years.. Since 91.. It had kerkers on it, I put a set of Vance & hines.. Removed the carbs and rejetted the main to 110's cleaned the float bowls and such.. I've had problems for the last few days (stumble at idle, not running on all 4cyl) and am sitting here at work ripping them apart completely and cleaning them..

Welcome to KZR.
Jets are usually threaded in. Is there a slot for a straight screw driver?

Someone show this fella how to do shorter links... I can't read what goes over onto the black portion to the right... Anyway, the plug is an aluminum, press fit plug with an oring. Use vise grips to remove it and be prepared to use a new plug as you will likely squish it. The pilot jet is a N151.067 type but can be replaced with a BS30/96 type... the former has no hole in the side where the latter does. The BS30/96 will be a lot easier to find and the swap doesn't affect performance.

The BS30/96 will be a lot easier to find and the swap doesn't affect performance. When you install the new plug, the oring normally has to be filed down some in order for it to fit. I believe you will find that the float bowl has a cast in stop for this plug, when the cover is installed, so it doesn't fall out of the hole so you don't have to force it in the pilot well to keep it retained, while riding. A little grease on the oring also helps with the install.

Ok i'll keep that in mind.. I ended up skipping those b/c i figured what you just confirmed.. when it fires up she purrs like a kitten, now i just can't get her to idle to good and she likes to stall when braking and downshifting.

Set the float level using the service fuel level method, replace the pilot jets and clean the pilot circuit internal passageways. That will fix your problems.
