What are these?

I got these off ebay last year and the guy said they are 34's. I pulled them out of the box today and found they froze up and smell horrible.

The measurement would be spot on for 34mm (34mm = 1.338 inches)but they look different from my Keihin CV34s. The choke linkage is different and that fin thingy on the top of 2 or 3 has me puzzled so I'll take a guess and say Mikuni BS34.

They are Mikuni's. Looked like 34's to me also just checking to make sure. The throttle won't move at all so I guees they go to WG for a rebuild. I just looked up his site and found complete instructions for install. SWEET!

I am going to trust JR and if they ARE 34mm, they came off a GS1000 or GS1100. That means that the spacing is correct for your bike. If JR can't do inch to mm any better than me, they will be BS32 carbs off either a GS750 or GS850. Unfortunately, those bikes used angled carb holders and carb spacing is different (inside two carbs are too close). You can stuff them in BS34 carb holders but the carb holders will soon fail. That cable holding bracket is for the choke cable. You will need to figure out how to mount a remote choke to pull that bracket to open the choke plungers. It is pretty hard to modify those carbs to accept a Kaw style pull choke rod. You have to do some precision drilling which I am not equipped to do. Also keep in mind that you will not be sync-ing those carbs. No vacuum ports except on the one carb to provide vacuum for a petcock. Some tech issues to overcome I guess if you want to use them.

From Don's pic the measurement looks like 1 & 11/32 inches which would work out at 1.34 inches.. close enough to the web conversion of 34 mm = 1.338 inches ?
Hope they fit don
