4.5 litres to the gallon and 1.6 kms to the mile.B)so he's getting 28.12mpg.

Here in metric land he's getting 10L/100km which is about what I get in my pontiwagon minivan....ok for a minivan but not great for a bike.

I think 4.5 litres is a UK gallon and 3.8 litres is a US gallon which is smaller ...so 23.75 mile per US gallon.
Here in metric land he's getting 10L/100km which is about what I get in my pontiwagon minivan....ok for a minivan but not great for a bike.
