ZN1100 Vacuum Line Help was created by Slider8
I have a 1984 ZN1100LTD that I need some help with the vacuum system. To make a long story short I had the carb's and associated vacuum parts out of the bike about two years ago. Unfortunately the kids decided to play with the parts, i.e. some are now missing. Since then I have been trying to find a good diagram of the vacuum system and canister location. Does any one have pictures or detailed information on how these connections should be for this bike. I have the micro fish parts breakdown for the bike but this is one area where even the parts break down is unclear as to how these connections should work. It also looks like it all ties together into the canister, air valve and separator. One problem I have is the parts break down shows two ports on the back of the tank but I only have one port. Any help with this would be great.

Hi Slider,

E-bay is where you can find a service manual for your ZN, keep looking. The evaporative cannister is unnecessary, OH Lordy, is big brother looking? Just unhook every thing and be sure you plug any vacuum leaks you may have just created.

Did I say that?

Not to mention, service manuals are just good wholesome reading. Great for the bathroom. Seriously though, a manual is a must have.
