syncing carbs

i have 33mm smoothbores.my carb boots do not have syc spigots.How can i sync these? are there other boots available?
76 KZ, frame gusset work,1200CC.Ported by Larry Cavanaugh, 1.5mm.over intakes, Carron Pipe, ZRX12 rear end, and seat,96zx9 front end.

No vacuum ports ON the VM33 so you are forced to bench sync only or fab a set of carb holders... pluck the vacuum ports from another set of carb holders and install in the 33 carb holders by drilling a hole and gluing them in.

as i understand it the syncing only helps at idle and doesnt do much after that.is that true or is there more to it?is bench syncing sufficiant?

It depends on how far off vacuum is... it will cause the bike to run poorly at all rpms if bench sync isn't done properly... if you can do it properly, it should get you close enough where it doesn't affect things up top. You need to be able to bench sync pretty well to get the carbs within spec.
