BS34 or VM26? was created by MkII
in the process of putting my Kz together this summer and wondering which choice might work best for my recipe....1075 10.25comp, stock or mild cam, K/N pods, V/H exhaust. bike will be my cruiser but will see spirited riding occasionally so I would like good fueling all the way up. it will not go to the strip, and don't care about hp #'s, looking for the best drivability thru the whole range. a local shop recommended the police cv bs34 as parts are avail/plenty. I was thinking VM29's but like the benefits of avail parts and lower costs. opinions. another carb I'm overlooking?

I just got back from a ride on my professionally cleaned BS34's, and there is no way I would recommend any other.

OH, it was on my GPZ750, I cannot even imagine what they would do on a built bike.

I'd say the shop is spot on.

84 GPZ750. Modded with stock Kawasaki parts: ZR-7 shock, ZX-6 coils, GPZ1100 throttle, EN454 brake, GPZ900 fuse box, etc. and non stock: Ken Sears mirrors, K&N filter, Pirelli Sport Demons.

I'm going with the 34's on my 78 1075. Anything is better than the 26's.
