Jetting question.
09 Jul 2007 10:34
My 74 Z1 seems to not want to pull hard in the upper RPM's kinda lags to get to redline. It has K+N filters and a 4-1 exhaust and right now has main jets of 122.5 which I believe are 10 over the stock ones. I know it has stock pilots as well.
I am at relitivly low altitude and wondering if that is enough of a jet for the setup? I have read where others are using like a 140?
Suggestions?
Thanks.

mmm had the same when I swoped a big diameter exhaustpipe 4 in 1 for a small diameter 4 in 1. It pulled hard up to 10.000rpm. With the small pipes it stops at 7500 and struggels to get 9000rpm... might be your problem...

Thanks for the help guys. I might try running some bigger ones and see how it goes. I recently upgraded the whole ignition system so it could be now that is needs more fuel to keep up with the stronger spark.
Do you think 135 will be good with the V+H pipe?
