anybody know anybody who rebuilds carbs and is good. i have a 82 kz440 ltd and it revs like crazy when itss idling and im pretty sure a carb rebuild will fix it. any help would be appreciated.

I can recommend Wiredgeorge, a member here. He's forgotten more about these carbs than most of us will ever know. He's worked on carbs for several of us. Search for his posts or go here. members.ebay.com/aboutme/wiredgeorge

Check and see if the carbs are in the boots tight. Sounds like it might be getting air in front of the carbs. Roy

I have to recommend WG as well. He has rebuilt a great set of carbs for me, and even talked me through installation.

I spent the afternoon with WG a couple weeks ago and I can personally vouch for his carb expertise. Great guy and he knows his stuff.
Air leaks certainly causes what you are experiencing. Contact WG!
