rs 34 flatslide knock

I just put on some rs 34 flatslides, and they run great.The only problem is the slides are alittle loose and knocking at certain rpms [with the pulse of the engine] any of you guys ever expriance the knocking slide blues?if so ,whats the cure? and don't say whiskey. thanks

thats "clacking" it should be music to your ears.

If their not "clacking" then somthing is wrong. Normal operation.

did you notice any improvement in performance over the vm33's?

thanks for the good news guys, that clacking was really starting to bug me.I won't have to worry anymore.
the 34 rs flats are a big improvement over the 33's,mainly on rollon, the 33s were always alittle lean when giving it the onion.my rs's are alittle rich right now as I don't have the right needle jets[i'm using the nj's from my rs 40's]the bike gurgles once in awhile,but other than that it runs better than it ever has.

I run 36's with a 1075,.425 lift cams and a big ported head with big valves, they work great. I thought they might be alittle to big but they work great. Pulls real hard on top and the mid range is real good with not flat spots.
