I'm not real sure you'll be able to find an airbox to fit this. What carbs do you have?
I am doing the very same swap as you. I just installed the BS34's tonight and got it fired. I think I have an air leak. I'd be interested in knowing a few other things, like where have you connected your vaccum lines from the carbs to, and what have you done with the crankcase vent? Also, have you used your factory petcock? If so, and you're installing BS34's, they'll get in the way, which is what I've found.
Let me know, maybe we can help each other out.

Chinup1100:
I think all those that make the carb conversion on the early FI Z-bikes also lose the stock airboxes as they do not fit with the carbs. Instead, they go with the individual filter pods

im not sure what carbs are being put into it. im getting the guy who originally put the bike together for me to put the carbs on, but he wont start the job until i find an air box or something to accompany them. soo im stuck without a bike to ride until he can get this job done. any suggestions on what i should grab if an airbox wont fit the bike?
