Anyone have an idea of what pilot jet size I should use with the following comfiguration:
33 Mikuni smoothbores on a early model KZ1000 cases with a low compression (10.5 TO 1) 1260cc bigbore with Web #218 cams,(418 lift I believe)runing a J model head with stock valves?
Thanks,

Buzz, try #17.5 pilot jets with the air screws almost closed. No more than 1/4 turn open. This is for 33s with 1.5 slide cut outs. If you have larger slide cut outs, much larger pilot jets are needed.
