Throttle Cable Conversion--Stainless? was created by Skyman
Anyone here done a throttle cable conversion to braided stanless steel? Know a good source for these, and which ones will work with a KZ1000-B2?

So, why is it so difficult to find these? Is it the cable length or the connection type that is hard to match?

If braided sleeving is an option, might check this supplier if not already done so.
cable sleeve
Am thinking s/s braided sheath alone, if available, would better serve show bike purposes as would allow moisture intrusion to inside. Whereas sheath over usual cable could afford the look while retaining protection. But metal braiding more likely to abrade painted surfaces absent clear vinyl cover over the braided sheath.
Agree s/s braid looks pretty cool. :woohoo:
And speaking of cool, here's a fun test.

You have to find a supplier for PMI parts from Japan.
Try Jeff at Z1enterprises.com.
I have an exact fit replacement for shorter bars from a Kaw Z1R.
I also have a matching shorter clutch cable.
These are for a 76 900 hotrod project.
