Air lock in the fuel system
16 Apr 2007 10:25
I fired up my new motor today, and well when I first turned on the gas had a leak out of one of the nipples on the petcock,it had about filled up the two fuel lines going to the 34's by the time I got around to the other side and shut it off.Put some tiestraps on the lines and now I cant get it to fill up back up.I took the tank off and opened the petcock and had fuel pouring out of both outlets,so I assume I have air in the system, any good ideas on how to get it out?

open the carb drain screws individually until you have fuel flowing out each of them
