Carbs Are Wack
09 Apr 2007 13:04
I took apart the carbs today and HOLY HELL they are nasty. it seems like the insides are just deteriorating into a white calcium-like buildup.
So i think it's time for me to pick up a new set. Only i Don't know which ones are on my bike.
the part number stamped on them is V54b, but according to all the records i've found on kz400.com, no kawasakis had those carbs equipped.
so what carbs are interchangable with my 78 kz400? I really need a new set; these things are messed up bad. a chunk of the main jet guide actually brittled up into my finger tips. where can if ind new carbs?

couldnt really find anything on ebay, and bike barn doesnt carry carbs, only carb parts.
anybody know what is interchangable with the bike? would a 79 440 carb work on my 78 400?
