Replacement Mercury for Sync Tool?
21 Mar 2007 10:47
I loaned my Carb Synch tool to a friend who revved the engine and sucked all the mercury into his engine.
Is there a place I can go to buy more mercury?

Just phone the EPA and ask them to recover your Mercury from your friends engine. They'll send hootage laden women in moon suits bearing pretzels and beer to keep you happy while you wait. You'll receive an autographed poster(he won't fit on a photo) from Al Gore thanking you for your enviromental sensitivity. Bono will rub your pet squirrels belly and a bevy of Korean lasses will 'shampoo' your bike.
It's only a phone call away!

Geesh Duck... those meds kicking in? Bwhahahha
I suggest you had best get you a couple containers of mercury. They have banned its sale in California so my supplier won't be carrying it after they run out. You could check with JC Whitney, Z1Enterprises and others who sell K&L mercury carb sticks as well as Motion Pro. Someone is likely to still have vials of replacment mercury on their shelves. I have converted to a non-mercury tool for business use due to mercury getting harder to come by.

We have one or two vials of mercury left - when they are gone, they are gone.
Motion Pro will be releasing a non-mercury version of the old stix tool - originally due out this month, that's now moved to May this year.
