I have resigned as a forum moderator and may start posting here in the carb forum again in the future. In the meantime, feel free to drop in at my Vintage Carburetor Tech Forum on our website. I check in there at least once a day. Right now is our busy time and my time for answering non-customer tech questions is pretty restricted. That is good news and bad news... our business is very very busy but my time to ride, wrench on my own bikes and participate in internet forums is pretty tight... Thanks for listening! wiredgeorge

Cheers and good luck.

W.G. is not building carbs. I was down there three weeks ago and he was building a jungle jim set for his grand kids. He is probably swinging on the rope and chasing the cat out of the sand box!:P

The swing set has been finished for quite awhile. I cut a piece of plywood to cover the sandbox when not in use so the cat wouldn't feel obliged to baptize the sand hehe

Spent yesterday installing a cylinder head on the ST. The old one had a small chunk missing where the valve cover bolt went through on the intake cam side... oil was leaking all over my purdy powder coat. Once I am finished, I will be puting an insert in the hole and then fixing the outside with JB Weld and the old head will be good as new.
