i friend of mine showed me some main jets today...they were plastic!! has anyone ever seen plastic jets?
how well do they last? by the way, these jets were 155's.....:ohmy:

Yep I got plastic ones on mine !
There were there when I bought the bike 4 years ago and all I can say about longevity is so far so good.

They probably are cheap crap but they seem to work ok.

If they are white plastic.
They were made by a co. named PRO JET.
I have a set in mine.
Work just fine.
And they cost the same as brass .......

they are white plastic. 155's. if the cost is the same, why go plastic?

They been around for over 20 years! I have teflon! They have a smoother bore than brass, not restricted at all with any irregularity's.
I used to bore out brass main jets with a welding tip cleaner.
I have 2 sets 120 and 122.5. Check ebay out, thanks for the idea! I will list them soon.

yep, i've known folks that drill them out..etc. they just open the hole up. personally, i never tried this.
