Bar Chain Tensioner and Airbox

How do I get the bloody airbox off? I am trying to replace the spring on the bar chain tensioner since my timing belt is slapping against the inside of my engine. I took off the gas tank, seat and battery box, and loosened the carb clamps, but I still haven't gotten the airbox off. Anyone?

Put you bike model in you signature line so we know what kind of bike you talking about (edit your profile).

On my kz650, you have to remove the carbs. The slide the airbox all the forward to get it out.
I don't think you need to remove the intake manifold boots from the head, but that would still give you an extra inch of room or so.
