I think the older gsxr carbs (oil cooled motors) have the same spacing. then its just a matter of getting the right intake boots.

Does it matter what engine size? 750cc or 1100cc ?

did some research for ya. according to sudco, the mikuni rs aftermarket carbs that fit the KZs (650, 750, 900, 1000, 1100 all have the same spacing) also fit the following list, meaning the spacing is the same, so a set of stock carbs could be adapted aswell
these ones are in the 34mm list
GSX600 1988 GSX-R750 1986-1987 GS750 ALL
these ones are 36mm list
GSX-600 1988 GSX-R750 1988-1992 GSX-R1100 1987-1992 GS1000-1500
in the 38mm list
GSX-R750 1987-1992 GSX-R1100 1987-1992

so anything from those lists, just pick what one is suited to the motor you are going to build

The two inner cylinders in GSXR are a few millimeters closer than in a KZ. They will fit but needs a little "muscle" and I´d advice to get new carb boots.

I have em on my 900... one problem, the float bowl is at a 10 degree angle due to the :lay down: aspect of the GSXR. The run fabulous but I'm having trouble withthe idle air screw setting...... Personally, I think I'm going to pursue a set of BS34's.

and yep, some muscle does overcome the two inner cylinder spacing imbalance

I got Mikuni TM33-8012 pumpers. They were used in bigger GSXR´s. Flatslide smoothbores with acc. pumps and no vacuum:laugh:

Runs like a maniac up to 10000rpm / 210kmh (speedo, not radar), terrific throttle response and power. Still have some work to do, little laim on 2-4500rpm.

And the sound with K&N ovals and slides slapping

Not to hi-jack this thread but I have a few question on GSXR carbs VS RS 34 Smooth Bores.

1. If I am running no air box and aftermarket tank without vacuum lines would the GSXR carbs work as good as flat slides.

2. Do the GSXR carbs / RS 34 have two or one fuel inlet.....if two what do you think about using a single petcock tank with a double feed petcock.

This is for a chopper project.

Thanks in advance.

Which GSXR carbs? The more agressive TM33 Flatslide-pumpers or the more street-easy CV -carbs?

Some say that with CV carbs you should use the stock airbox since pods like K&N ovals do not generate enough or as stabile vacuum as the airbox. With CV carbs use the airbox and with TM33´s or RS34 use K&N pods.

I´d recommend Pingel Hi-Flow petcocks. RS34 have two inlets.

In Bic Darklighter´s pic is a CV -carb.

Here´s a pic of the TM33-8012 -pumpers:
