kz550 bogg help needed!

How do you adjust the idle mixture screws? Do you have to remove those covers they put over them?

I think you are talking about carb synch, (take off the tops of the carbs to adjust) idle or air screws are on the side. little brass ones with a spring behind them IIRC

What's up Scott? It's me. I am talking about the idle air screws that would normally be located at the back of the carb by the air cleaner. Mine have a cap over where the screws should be. Is it as simple as removing that cap?

I just checked the parts diagrams on the kawasaki site for an 82 550. they show a plug over the screws, just pop it out;)
the plug is part# 92066-1051 "PLUG,PILOT SCREW"
