I like the first 2 pics....there’s just something about the bike that says "tough" I bet if you take a pic of the rear it has a set of balls.....love to see the KZ at the track....It still transforms time and is still relevant

i used that exact same swingarm on a 1015 motored 5 inch slick dragbike it worked great what i did for the strut mounts was i cut of the single shock linkage mounts off the swingarm and flipped them around and figured out where they had to be to keep the frame and swingarm parrelel and the welded them up on the top of the swing arm it worked awesome. i rode that bike like that for about 10 years got down into the 10.20 range always went straight. the only problem i had was when i change the chain tension it would change the wheelie bar heights so you have to keep an eye on that because of the eccentric adjusters. i also set it up for drum brakes as the frame was a 74 z1. i used a 3.5 inch sun rim and buchanens 8 gauge stainless spokes never had a problem with them breaking or loosening up every time i changed tires i would check the tension. don't go to a 17" inch becuse you won't be able to get slicks when you want to go to one.the only 17" slick available right now is either the mickey thompson or the shinko reactor but they are 7" tires so way to big for your bike. so what i'm saying long and short is stay with a 5" tire if you can. the street tire is fine to begin with but down the road you will definitly want the traction a slick will give you. no matter which way you go have a blast.

Update!!

Went 12.12@105.93 with a 1.76 60 foot.
Still fightin the tire spin but the longer arm sure may'd a diff.

If I bring the rpm's up were the motor like's to launch I
have to slide the clutch out way to long
drop the rpm's so it don't blow the tire off it go's to slow.

Timebomb I started to do the same thing with the same mount's
but for me they hung off the arm to much and just
looked ugly.
As for the tire later in the week I gonna go
look at a 4.25X18 Akront rim and a 5.5 slick.
If the money's right I'll get them.

Lush the seat was on the bike when I got it
Best I can tell it's 1000 seat pan that's been recovered
as its a little wide for my 650 frame.

I'll take some pic of the factory sticker's
on the pan maybe some one can ID it.

Talk to me on the motor I need an 83 model head to send
to Larry C and not take my motor apart till it get's back.
